Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineer - Level 5 at Boeing Grant, AL

Boing Defense Security and Space Electrical Engineering Core is seeking expert electromagnetic effects engineers across our critical Boeing Defense and Space related engineering programs within several sites.
The candidate will mentor, coach and lead lesser experienced engineers providing knowledge transfer to aid in growing our next generation of engineers.
The candidate will provide engineering and technical decisions for state-of-the-art satellite systems, Space Launch System (SLS), Boeing Military Aircraft such as the B-52 Bomber, Military Derivative Aircraft such as Airborne Early Warning & Control (AEW&C), and/or various other diverse projects.
Main area of focus will be Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3) analysis and testing, assessment of E3 conditions and Survivability assessments at one of several different sites.
Assignments will provide an excellent opportunity to learn aircraft electromagnetics effect on the various platforms.
This position provides an excellent opportunity to develop new solutions, help grow and mentor the next generation of engineers, and guide the candidates' career towards the submittal of a candidacy for a position in the Technical Fellowship.

Develops and validates electromagnetic requirements for electricalelectronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
Develops architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms.
Performs trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements.
Interface effectively with all technical disciplines in a team environment to trade factors such as survivability, cost, weight and technical risk in arriving at the final design.
Evaluate single event effect rates, complete electrostatic discharge circuit analysis, and support unit-level, device-level, and material susceptibility testing and analysis.
Defines and conducts tests to validate performance of designs to requirements.
Manages appropriate aspects of supplier and partner performance to ensure compliance to requirements.
Provides support to products throughout their lifecycle by developing root-cause analysis of anomalies and other engineering support as requested.
Supports project management by providing work statement, budget, schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project status.
Writes appropriate sections of proposals to support development of new business.
Works under consultative mentorship.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.

Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g.
PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
